Not quite.
You have stumbled upon my very, very real life and personal journal. Stuff about school life, work life, social life. This journal is basically just a place for me to write down events that -I- want to remember. Nothing super interesting. It's also a place for me to freely bitch about people. Yeah sorry, I'm not that nice after all.
I'm not going to add anyone I don't know. And even if I did know
you, I would still consider not adding you. This journal isn't
public. But I do have a few public entries here and there, but no
one can really comment unless you're on my list. If you're not,
well then... too bad?
Hello, it's been awhile, Vox blogosphere. How have you been?
I am only here to say that I won't be using this in the near future. Who knows, I might perhaps come back but for now, I think it's safe to say it's time. This blog has gone through many rough patches with me, and for this reason I will not be closing it for my own benefit. However, I feel no more urges to write here anymore. I have opened a new chapter of my life last October, and this blog, my old life, was left behind. (way to be overly dramatic there, Amy.) There's always the right time to do things, and now I'm leaving for good.
Whoever happens to read this, I'm still on good ol' LJ. Stalk me there, I suppose. I got the Twits too, but I am certain the novelty of it will wear off soon so I might disappear from that as well. I have a hand written journal now, which I am quite proud of the fact that I remember to write in it (almost) everyday.
The grass is greener on the other side, as they say. See you there. Bye for now.
The harmony-seeking idealist is characterised by a complex personality and an abundance of thoughts and feelings. He is a warm-hearted person by nature. He is sympathetic and understanding. He expects a lot of himself and of others. He has a strong understanding of human nature and is often a very good judge of character. But he is mostly reserved and confides his thoughts and feelings to very few people he trusts. He is deeply hurt by rejection or criticism. He finds conflict situations unpleasant and prefers harmonious relationships. However, if reaching a certain target is very important to him he can assert himself with a doggedness bordering on obstinacy.
This personality type has a lively fantasy, often an almost clairvoyant intuition and is often very creative. Once he has tackled a project, he does everything in his power to achieve his goals. In everyday life, he often proves to be an excellent problem solver. He likes to get to the root of things and has a natural curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. At the same time, he is practically oriented, well organised and in a position to tackle complex situations in a structured and carefully considered manner. When he concentrates on something, he does so one hundred percent - he often becomes so immersed in a task that he forgets everything else around him. That is the secret of his often very large professional success.
As a partner, the harmony-seeking idealist is loyal and reliable; a permanent relationship is very important to him. He seldom falls in love head over heels nor does he like quick affairs. He sometimes finds it very difficult to clearly show his affection although his feelings are deep and sincere. In as far as his circle of friends is concerned, his motto is: less is more! As far as new contacts are concerned, he is approachable to only a limited extent; he prefers to put his energy into just a few, close friendships. His demands on friends and partners are very high. As he does not like conflicts, he hesitates for some time before raising unsatisfactory issues and, when he does, he makes every effort not to hurt anyone as a result.

理性の忠告は
Put up with my love! N0, no, no, no! No way!彼は友達の恋人
愛か友情 Love or friend ?
振り出しに戻せるならば
You always make me so crazy.
Why don't you come to me now!
そんな事言えないの
Run away! Get away! I can't run away!彼女は私の友達
愛と友情 seesaw game
二人が並ぶ姿は
It's so hard for me to be with.

I'm waiting for my next paycheck so I can buy the 「ただ、ただ」 single from this guy. He is an -amazing- songwriter. Just the kind of music I enjoy the most -- smooth pop melody with a hint of jazz (and I just can't pinpoint it... it also has some sort of old-fashioned feeling to it). I LOVE IT. It's a shame he's not popular... sort of why I have to buy this because I can't find any downloads for it at all. His music is hard to come by... I didn't even know he had another single before the latest Tomita Lab collaboration...
Anyway, point of this -- he's written songs for other people as well, and what surprised me was that he wrote 「さよなら」 for KinKi Kids... that's my favorite song from them! It amazes me how much this makes sense... the tune and melody is totally his type. It makes the song even better now, haha.
I think I've mentioned about him on my Last.fm like a year ago. His songs are just beautiful. Too bad he's not really a looker... LMAO. Although he has improved... the whole piano & glasses look is really working for him. And he's got this cute little cooking corner on his website... I was quite amused by that.
But yup... sigh... now I'm just going to stream his songs over and over again on his site...

Gahhh, Jin sounds sooooo good. Lovely.
Whoa, Koki... ROFL... 落ち着いて! No need to stomp the ground in anger hahahahah
Jeeze, that shag/shawl whatever the hell Kame is wearing, looks painful and heavy to walk around in, LOL
LOL what the hell are they doing at the end... Jin was like sooooo looking like "HEY KAME WHAT WAS THAT" and Kame looked so embarrassed. And then everyone else is like WHAT'D YOU JUST DO?! OH MANNNNNNN. THIS IS SO AWESOME.

Pretty good movie, I should say. It's really hard to find Japanese movies that aren't a) scary, b) emotionally depressing, or c) samurai warrior fighting. This movie is plain and simple, there's nothing too special about it and there's no crazy effects. But it does get it's point across -- have a good time doing what you want. I've wanted to watch it for a long time already, but I never got to find the download until now. It's humourous, but at the same time it makes me wish I could read music and play an instrument (much like after watching Nodame).
Ueno Juri is so cute here. I think she performs so well in music-related movies and tv. She really brings out the character, as well as the music. She also has a natural ability to be the comic relief without looking like she's trying too hard. I don't think anyone else could play Tomoko like she could. (did I mention how I really like the movie poster? So cute!) Her highlight in the movie was probably when they were all trying to find a way to pay for their instruments... hilarity ensues.
I didn't know Hiraoka Yuuta played such a big role! I was pleasantly surprised. His character is SO GEEKY though, oh my gosh. Geek to the max. He even made his voice sound so much whiner and nasal. But this is where I thought his acting was good. I'm so used to seeing him play the cute, cool character that in this movie, I found his geek character in here a refreshing and impressive change. I mean, they even show him go into a hair salon and getting his bowl haircut. OH GOD, that was funny. He was pretty much the glue to the group, I think. He got the girls together, trained them and led them to the competition.
The setting for this was in the Yamagata prefecture (explains why it looks insanely FREEZING half the time), and they speak in Yamagata-ben most of the movie. You can make out the regular Japanese, but hmm... I really don't know how to listen to different dialects. ^^; All I could make out was "ya" at the end of like, everything. And the dialogue sounds really slurred... haha.
I heard there was bonus extra footage on a special dvd or something... I hope someone uploads that, I want more jazz music!
One thing I absolutely cannot, cannot, CANNOT STAND is seeing live seafood being cut up RIGHT ON THE SPOT. I was watching... ahem... let's just say a Japanese show... and the sushi chef took out a live squid from the water tank. Then he put it on the cutting board WHILE IT WAS STILL WIGGLING and immediately cut it open. He cut the head, legs, arms, WHATEVER. He placed the parts on the platter very nicely and ONE OF THE LEGS WERE STILL MOVING OH MY GODDDDDDD.
You should have seen me SCREAMING... I don't like seeing this sort of stuff! Absolutely HORRIFYING. I don't care if it's seafood, meat, ANYTHING ALIVE. PLEASE, NO. The guest of the show ate it... and the suction cups were still MOVING around his TEETH and was sticking onto the side of his mouth OMGGGGGGGGG. HOW CAN YOU EAT SOMETHING LIKE THAT WHILE IT'S HALF ALIVE?! Oh my goddddd... I can't understand. I am mortified.
(Ooh, the new functions on Vox are snazzy.)
(It's shipped, it's shipped!! Some people already have their hands on it... bwahhhhhh so jealous.)
'kay... so there's this guy who frequents Oakridge a lot and I SWEAR
he's the black version of Hayami Mokomichi. Even my manager
agrees (I made her watch Brother Beat, haha) and whenever she sees him,
she'd shake me and go "HEY IT'S BLACK RIKU!!". It's so bad
because I burst out laughing in the middle of NOWHERE when he comes by
and the customers are like ?_? what the hell. It's SCARYYY... the
resemblance. The hair, the height, the weight (Moko's kinda
skinny-ish, haha) even his CLOTHES... and the way he wears his
bag. SCARYYY. My manager thinks he works at Gap...
haha watch me go and stalk Gap even MORE now.

ewwwww. hahaha i should send you pictures of the beautiful sakura here **snickers** and the nice sunny weather.. well ok... read more
